„I was a HUGU idea fan from the beginning. I was captivated by the opportunity to present an important and personal message to someone in such a nice and unique way.
I chose the dark grey bear as my helper for this special occasion. I chose the bear based on all the tones and designs of each bear (which I was introduced to by the HUGU creator Lauris). I liked this bear’s modern, moderate Northerners’ character, and it reminded me of my childhood. From the technical perspective HUGU was perfect because I had to record my message in secret, sitting in my car while it was freezing outside. I changed my text more than ten times – I recorded, erased and rerecorded, and everything worked perfectly. I must admit that the instruction was of great help – it not only explained what and how to do everything, but also contributed to the serious and special environment.
When my fiancé received the gift, she was surprised and I could read the question: „Why a bear?” on her face. But when she discovered HUGU’s message, the surprise was covered by a smile and the „YES” I longed to hear.

Even now, remembering the moment, I tear up.
HUGU isn’t only a pretty bear. It’s much more than that and I can’t
even explain it fully. Because, when I hold the bear and hear the voices
of my loved ones so close and clear, I get this happy and warm feeling
in my heart. That’s it – this bear has a big heart filled with love and
warmth that anyone can place in there! And I think that HUGU is very
capable of keeping this warmth.
And every time, and I’m not exaggerating, that I look at him, I smile and think of my loved ones!

Gave HUGU as a wedding present for her friends
I wanted to give people, who theoretically have everything and whom I don’t know well enough to give something specific, a present that would be original and sweet. I wanted it to be a memory for a lifetime from this special occasion – their wedding. I think that HUGU is just the right present! I know that I would like to receive one on my wedding day so that my husband and I could record sweet words to each other which we could remember and listen in our old age or when the other one will be gone. HUGU is a very cool bear. It’s created in a vintage style that is very relevant today and, most importantly; it’s made of natural materials and is made in Latvia. This bear will be appreciated by cool people with high quality standards, people who enjoy life (and aren’t fans of mass production.)
